Altar Servers

 Altar Servers are young boys and girls from 5th grade to High school who assist in the celebration of the Mass. Their duties include carrying the cross during the procession into Mass and when leaving. They hold the Lectionary for the Priest to read from,  prepare the Altar for Communion and clear the Altar after Communion.  It is the responsibility of Altar Servers to assist the Priest in any way that is needed during the celebration of the Mass. Alter Servers also assist at funerals and weddings.

Currently there are about 30 young people who are members of this ministry who serve on a rotating schedule. There are  4 servers at each of the 4 masses each week.
