Ministry of Care

 The Ministry of Care is an organization made up of parishioners who are mandated by our Bishop to bring Holy Communion to those individuals who are unable to attend mass on a regular basis due to sickness, physical disability or advanced age.

 
Our ministers currently visit Holmes Regional Hospital on a daily basis, 13 Nursing Homes & Assisted Living Facilities on weekly visits and also Homebound on a weekly basis. We also have teams of ministers who offer Communion Services either weekly or monthly to our local Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities, this service helps to bring community to those confined to those facilities. These facilities are also receiving Masses at least three times a year by our parish priests.
